Wenting Huang - Graduate Student Wenting joined the lab Fall 2007 having completed her undergraduate studies at Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Wenting is interested in the evolution and maintenance of sexual and asexual reproduction. |

Tania Wyss - Graduate Student Research Assistant Tania, a graduate student in Dr Dave Janos' lab, and RA in the Wison Lab is working on serveral projects associated with symbiont genome evolution in the aphid Myzus persicae. |

Kate Hurley - Undergraduate Researcher Kate joined the lab summer 2007 at the end of her freshman year. Kate is using stable isotope anlayses to study aphid/plant interactions. She also plans to attend medical school.

Gabriel Walton - Undergraduate Researcher Gabe joined the lab Fall 2008. He is learning to script in PERL and annotating nitrogen metabolism in the aphid genome.

Diana Liu - Undergraduate Researcher Diana joined the lab Spring 2007 in her freshman year. In her first semester in the lab she was a key player in an experiment quantifying the performance of different Myzus persicae genotypes on cabbage seedlings. Diana has incredible skills in keeping a lab notebook and paying attention to the details, she plans to attend medical school. |

Christie Buchovecky - Undergraduate Student Worker Chrisite joined the lab Spring 2007 in her sophmore year. During Summer 2007 she participated in the College of Arts and Sciences Summer Research Program for Underrepresented Minorities and Women working on a project describing tranposable element related sequences in aphid genomes. Christie now works in the lab farming aphids. She is passionately interested in studying human genetic disorders in particular, autism. |
