Gifts and Donations

The Gifford Arboretum kindly accepts gifts and donations in order to preserve and enhance our beautiful and diverse botanical resources.  Gifts and donations received help in the curation and management of the collections as well as in the purchasing of new specimens.  Your gift, no matter the amount, will ensure that the Gifford Arboretum and the other "botanical jewels" on campus will be properly curated and maintained for both academic purposes and for the community at large. 

If you are interested in making a cash donation to the Gifford Arboretum, please make your check payable to the University of Miami and mail to:

You can now donate online! 

1. First read these directions and then click on the link provided below to take you to the online giving website of the University. 

2. Fill in all the pertinent information about yourself.

3. Then, in the "Gift Information" section, note that there is a drop-down box entitled "Area."  This box designates the area within the University that you have chosen to receive your donation. To give to the Arboretum, click on the drop-down tab and select "Arts & Sciences, College of." 

4. Next, in the "Department" drop-down box below, select "Gifford Arboretum."
