WORKSHOP COURSE AND GRADING POLICIES

Required Readings: Workshop handouts, available by clicking on the title of each workshop in the syllabus above.

Attendance: Attendance at weekly workshops is mandatory. You will receive points on a relatively objective scale, awarded by your workshop leader. Your point total will be given to Dr. Krempels at the end of the semester, and will be part of your final grade. The scale is as follows:

0 - absent
1 - present, but obviously unprepared and inattentive
2 - present, but unprepared
3 - present and mentally involved, though not actively involved in discussion
4 - mentally and actively involved in discussions
5 - outstanding involvement in discussions, with excellent grasp of materials

Keeping Contact: At the first organizational meeting, you will sign a roll sheet for your workshop leader, including your name, email address and phone number. In turn, you should carefully record the following:
