One of the greatest things about this hobby is the
people. One of the best things that has happened to me is that my
wife Tammy participates with me. She is not into shooting so much
but she does like to "dress up". Over the many years of our marriage
she has participated in many activities with me. She has camped in
a tipi when we are buckskinning, we have spent many weeks traveling the
country and world, and she now goes with me to cowboy shoots.
Last year she joined SASS and became Big Bad Bertha Bowie.
It is so much more fun when you have your life companion
enjoy the things you enjoy. Since she has started going to more shoots,
it makes it that much better for me. Now, if I could only get her
to shoot.........
