Problems were not limited to Great Lakes wildlife, populations of animals, such as these bullfrog tadpoles were exhibiting gross malformations world wide.  Amphibian populations were particularly hard hit.  Several studies have shown that combinations of endocrine disruptors, parasitic infections, and UVB radiation along with habitat degradation and loss have contributed to the sharp declines in amphbian populations.
