Hello! I'm Rachel Dougnac and I'm twelve entering seventh grade. I enjoy Science but I'm particularly interested in Medicine, Health, and Biology. I have another great interest in Journalism. I have had many accomplishments this year including an award for First Place in The Florida State Science Fair. I enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, talking, learning, and basically I like to have fun. So far I have enjoyed working on our pages here on the web, our writing and mathematics classes, the field work (but not the mosquitoes ), and swimming and lunch as well. I'm sure I'll have a great time here at the university!
Mother Everglades
My children live inside my extending arms; My extending arms of water and marsh grass; I nurture all the creatures; I feed the alligator and provide water for the sawgrass to grow; The water,sun,grass,creatures; we are one; We all are our life and blood; We all help each other live.
Do not interfere. Do not risk the lives of my children; Don't toy with our existence. Your good intentions soon will spoil. We are dependent on one another; You're mutilating both of us.
Our goal in life is to survive: We can protect each other and survive together.
