Javier Socorro

Hi! My name is Javier Socorro. I am in the young scholars program at the University of Miami. I am 12 years old, and I am going into the 7th grade at Citrus Grove Middle School. I enjoy snorkeling, spearfishing, and playing baseball. I hope to take diving classes next summer, and become a certified diver. I also enjoy fishing. I would like to be a professional baseball player or an automotive engineer. I will also like to study marine biology. I think that I will be a great marine biologist because I have been snorkeling and spearfishing with my dad, my godfather, and my godfather's son, since I was 8 years old. I am planning to attend the University of Miami. I am looking forward to this great biology program at the University of Miami.

The old mighty everglades is just poor defenseless land. That is why I must protect the everglades. My name is Glades, Ever Glades. I am the brain of the ever glades, I control every thought and every part of the everglades. I fight against the evil humans to protect my body. The humans think that they are so incredibly smart but they donÕt see that every time they hurt me they destroy there major needs. Slowly my body is disintegrating and the only oneÕs who can help me are the oneÕs who are destroying me.
