One of the beauties of the garden is the numerous small pools
that it contains. This small garden pool was full of lily pads
and reeds. We side several small fish and bullfrog and cane toad
tadpoles.

| This is an alligator that I saw in Fairchild
Gardens. I thought it was a very neat feature of watching an
alligator glide across the water toward me, 2008. |

| Fairchild Gardens, Miami, Florida, USA, 2008. The
Chulully art is blown glass in large cylindrical or other shapes
that are then placed in the water or around the garden. Here are
two pictures of the better pieces of art in my opinion. I
personally feel that the art is more a type of environmental pollution
than something aesthetically pleasing. I felt that the art
detracted from the natural biological beauty of the garden.
However, many people seem to really love the Chulully exhibit
because Fairchild Gardens extended the time that the Chulully exhibit
would stay at the Garden three times, I think. The top photo was
taken by Patricia Vendramini. |
