I thought that we would have a classic horse this year. He was entered in the Peter Pan Stakes G2 at Belmont, but was scratched because he had a skin disease. Corinthian (half-brother and trained by same trainer Jimmy Jerkens) had a skin disease last year that kept him in running in the fall. I wonder if this was a coincidence or not.
Family horses - These are horses bred or owned by Hargus and Sandra Sexton in Kentucky. Also coming soon are other pictures from the late Rex Ellsworth's stable.
