The Conservation and Research Center (CRC) is a research facility of the National Zoo, located about 50 miles west of Washington, D.C., in Front Royal, Virginia.  I began my work there during summer 2000.  I obtained my wild-type Muscovies from a breeder in Washington state in 1999.  Check out Northwest Wildfowl Farms for more information on Muscovy ducks.
