10. Be methods-oriented.

Emphasize the methods, not the message.

    Be thorough

In the methods section, identify every detail of your methods. Someone might want to know a detail when you aren’t in front of your poster.

In the results, emphasize methods over content. Identify only the methods --not the results-- in each heading.

In the conclusions, merely repeat the results and carefully emphasize the methods used to obtain the results.

People will know that your main concern is with methods, not with annoying concepts.

If done thoroughly, your focus on methods could bring you
many job offers- as a junior technician.

Many lab heads are looking
for another pair of hands,
particularly without a contentious head inconveniently attached.
