SOLOMON ISLANDS FIELD COURSE
 
What:
This is a three-week course on island ecology, evolution and conservation. Students will learn the basic principles of island ecology and evolution. In addition, students will participate in community outreach programs (i.e., grass roots conservation) and on-site field research. For Syracuse University students, this is a laboratory course that will count towards your major (Biology 400).
 
Where:
The Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. The course will be based in the Western Province. Click here for the tentative itinerary.
