We use a novel approach to study MITOSIS in the context of living animals(see below)

 

This movie is of a living fly wing expressing histone-GFP and Tubulin-RFP. Frames taken every 3 seconds.

 

To study CILIOGENESIS we use genetics, light and electron microscopy

to study sensory neuron development in Drosophila. These neurons are the primary ciliated cells in flies.
